See your speed. Save the drive.

Vatio Speed turns an in-vehicle browser into a GPS speedometer with trip statistics. Start a recording when you want to keep the route, then open Drive Replay for maps and charts.

This link opens VatioBoard, the touch-first workspace where VatioLibre driving tools run.

VatioLibre browser GPS speedometer with trip statistics

GPS speed and trip details at a glance

  • Live GPS speed with selectable metric or imperial units.
  • Distance, duration, maximum and average speed, altitude and GPS-quality context.
  • Pause, resume and stop controls for an explicit recording session.
  • Manual speed alerts and camera-aware tools from the same GPS service.

Replay the drive afterward

  • Local session history with route samples and summary values.
  • Drive Replay map playback and speed/altitude charts.
  • Private cloud synchronization and recovery when an eligible VatioLibre account is used.
  • Supported exports from the VatioLibre recording library.

Requirements and limitations

The browser must provide location permission and usable GPS updates. Tesla browser background behavior, device sleep, tunnels and urban obstruction can interrupt samples. VatioLibre labels degraded or stale GPS rather than presenting it as precise.

Direct answers

Frequently asked questions

Is the speedometer connected to the vehicle's speed sensor?

No. VatioLibre uses the browser's geolocation/GPS data for this tool.

Does recording start automatically?

No. The driver starts the recording and can pause, resume or stop it.

Can I replay a drive without an account?

Yes, while the local session remains available on that browser. An account is needed for eligible cloud recovery across devices.

Will recording continue in the background?

Browser and vehicle behavior can suspend a page. VatioLibre reports when recording or its keep-alive needs attention.
